Direct Burial (A direct burial is unattended and there is no service)

A direct burial is an alternative to a funeral service.  There is no service, officiant or mourners.  Please note that payment in full is requires at the time of the interview either by card, cash or BACS payment. Please contact one of our offices for further details.

Direct burial includes:-

A private interview with the family/Executor to sign all necessary paperwork and take payment.

Advice on registering death.

Completion of all documentation.

Transferring the deceased to Chapel of Rest within a 20 mile radius.

Preparation of the deceased in one of our simple gowns.

Provision of simple coffin, padded and lined.

Conveyance direct to local Cemetery without a service.

Providing necessary staff.

Optional use of Chapel of Rest (fees apply).

Excludes:-

A funeral service.

Your attendance at the Cemetery.
