If you are responsible for paying the funeral costs and have insufficient funds, you may well qualify for some help from the Social Fund Section of the DWP and provided you, or your spouse are in receipt of one of the following:-
- Income Support
- Housing Benefit
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- Family Credit
- Disability Working Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
- Child Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
