Douglas Edward Pygott

Of Castleford and formerly of Methley, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 6th 2024 aged 68 years.

Now reunited with his beloved parents Edith, Alma and sister Lorraine. Devoted partner of Lucy, dearly loved Dad of Dawn, James and Kathryn and very dear father-in-law of Jeff and Anthony.

Also, cherished Grandad of Annabel, Sophie, Pheobe and Phoenix.

Also, much loved brother of Hilary, Howard and Kevin.

Will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Service to take place at Holy Cross Church on Wednesday January 15th at 12 noon followed by burial at Whitwood Cemetery.

Will friends please accept this intimation.

Family flowers only, donations in memory of Douglas would be appreciated and will be divided between The British Heart Foundation and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which may be kindly left in the box provided in Church.
