John J N Mackman

It is with greatest sadness that we are announcing the death of John J N Mackman.

He died at home on Monday 22nd June.

The man who never moaned despite terminal cancer, upper body arthritis, immobility and a dogdy ticker.

The banker, deacon, photographer, Dad to Deb and Angela, husband to his beloved Shirley- who he was determined to stay with as long as he could.

Grandad to Debra Seal’s gang and Tilly.

Much loved and never forgotten.

Thanks for a million memories – which are all recorded in photographic form.

Reunited with his Saviour and those who have gone before us.

Funeral to be held at Pontefract Congregational Church on Finkle Street, Monday 13th of July at 2pm.

Casual dress. Donations in lieu of flowers to the continued work and ministries of the church. All welcome.
